The North Atlantic Alliance is a military-political alliance of 32 countries in North America and Europe.
Geographically, Ukraine is located at the intersection of Eastern and Western Europe, shares a border with four NATO countries - Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania - and a common border with NATO's adversaries - the Russian Federation and Belarus.
NATO is negotiating to deploy more nuclear weapons in the face of a growing threat from Russia and China. In addition, consultations were held between the members of the Alliance regarding the removal of missiles from storage and their transfer to combat readiness.
