Military tax is paid by residents and businesses to the state budget to fund the Ukrainian army. In January–August 2026, taxpayers in Mykolaiv Oblast paid 2.4 billion hryvnias of the tax, and in the first ten months of 2025 they paid almost 2.5 billion.
