prisoner exchanges between Ukraine and Russia

Prisoner exchange stories on MykVisti follow the return of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians from Russian captivity. In May 2025, 205 defenders came home, and in June 2025 four rounds of exchanges took place in a single week, bringing back fighters captured in 2022. On 24 August 2026 Ukraine brought back ten soldiers who had been listed as missing.

MykVisti reports who comes home and who is still held captive.
