Ukrainian MP, leader of the Batkivshchyna party

Yulia Tymoshenko is a Ukrainian politician, member of parliament and leader of the Batkivshchyna party, who served as Prime Minister of Ukraine in 2005 and 2007–2010. In January 2026 the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) charged her with offering MPs undue benefits for their votes. The court set bail at UAH 33.3 million and banned her from contacting 65 Servant of the People MPs, three of them from Mykolaiv Oblast. Tymoshenko said her conversation had been recorded for NABU by Mykolaiv MP Ihor Kopytin. In April 2026 NABU and the anti-corruption prosecutors completed the pre-trial investigation.

MykVisti covers the case and the role of Mykolaiv MPs in it, her statements on the war, elections, mobilisation and the budget, and her visit to Mykolaiv.
