diver from Mykolaiv, European champion

Oleksii Sereda is a Ukrainian diver from Mykolaiv who competes on the 10-metre platform. According to Wikidata, he became European champion in 2019. At the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, 18-year-old Sereda finished fifth in synchronised diving with Kyrylo Boliukh and eighth in the individual final. In 2025 he won silver at the World Championships, and European Aquatics named him the best diver of the year. In August 2026 Sereda and Kseniia Bailo became European champions in mixed synchronised diving.
