The Budget Commission of the Mykolaiv City Council, also called the planning and budget committee, is a standing committee of deputies dealing with economic and investment policy, planning, the budget, finance and business. It reviews changes to Mykolaiv’s budget, spending plans of municipal companies and requests from businesses, while final decisions are taken by the city council at its sessions. As of December 2025 the committee was chaired by deputy Fedir Panchenko. In May 2026, on its third attempt, the committee approved a ₴14 million land lease break for Nibulon, and in July it rejected a ₴5 million capital increase for the Mykolaiv Parks utility.
