Kryvyi Rih is a city in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine and one of the largest cities in the country by area and population. Located on the Inhulets and Saksahan rivers, the city has a population of approximately 600,000 people. Kryvyi Rih is known as a hub for the metallurgical industry and iron ore mining, playing a key role in Ukraine's economy.

Founded in 1775, the city has a rich history. Its development is closely linked to the mining industry, which turned Kryvyi Rih into a major industrial center. Today, it is home to large metallurgical enterprises, such as "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih."

During Russia's war against Ukraine, Kryvyi Rih has become an important rear support center, providing aid to displaced persons, supporting military efforts, and strengthening local infrastructure.
