Tsentralnyi District

Tsentralnyi (Central) District is one of the districts of Mykolaiv with its own district administration. It includes Kutuzova Street and Heroiv Ukrainy Avenue.

The district administration orders cleaning and repairs: in September 2023 it planned to spend ₴973,000 on removing mud and rubbish by the end of the year, and in November 2023 it put out a ₴2 million tender to repair three blocks of Kutuzova Street. That month councillor Bereza explained why ₴500,000 was being spent on flags in the district. In March 2024 residents complained of a shelter locked during an air raid alert, and in October 2025 a new shelter of about 340 m² for 400 people opened in a district school. In September 2026 air pollution above permitted levels was recorded, among other places, in Tsentralnyi District.
