The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) is a specialized court within Ukraine's judicial system, established to handle cases related to corruption and associated criminal offenses. The court commenced its operations on September 5, 2019.

Primary functions of the HACC:

  • Adjudicating criminal proceedings concerning corruption crimes under its jurisdiction.
  • Exercising judicial oversight to ensure the rights, freedoms, and interests of individuals in such criminal proceedings.
  • Handling civil cases involving the recognition of unjustified assets and their confiscation in favor of the state.

The HACC's jurisdiction covers the entire territory of Ukraine. The court comprises a first instance and an Appellate Chamber. The first instance is located at: 41 Beresteiskyi Avenue, Kyiv, 01601. The Appellate Chamber is situated at: 4 Khrestovyi Lane, Kyiv, 01010.

The HACC plays a pivotal role in combating corruption in Ukraine, ensuring fair case consideration and promoting the strengthening of the rule of law.
