In Mykolaiv it is planned to spend ₴17.5 million on maintaining green zones in two districts of the city in 2024

The municipal enterprise «Mykolaiv Parks» announced two tenders for the maintenance of green areas located in the Korabelnyi and Inhulskyi districts of the city in 2024.
This is evidenced by the data of the ProZorro public procurement system, NikVesti writes.
In general, they plan to spend 17.5 million hryvnias on maintenance and cleaning of 121 green zones.
So, in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv, street cleaning and sweeping services will be provided in 72 areas. The customer pledged 7 million 392 thousand 998 hryvnias for this.
At that time, 121 green zones will be maintained in the Ingul district for 10 million 121 thousand 42 hryvnias.
The winner of the tender must perform work on the land plots specified in the tender documentation from January 1 to June 30, 2024.
According to the tender documents, the list of tasks of the contractor includes:
— random garbage collection;
— sweeping;
— cleaning of tracks from snow, ice and sprinkling of tracks;
— cleaning of bins;
— tree care;
— caring for shrubs;
— care of perennial flowers;
— mowing;
— cleaning from fallen leaves.
We will remind you that from January to September 2023, the municipal enterprise «Mykolaiv Parks» spent 14.9 million hryvnias on the maintenance of green areas.
It is worth noting that this year, 1 million 472 thousand 700 hryvnias were allocated to the maintenance of such facilities during January-September 2023 in Korabelnyi district, and 1 million 902 thousand 500 hryvnias in Inhulskyi.
During the 12 months of 2022, a total of 13.7 million was spent: Zavodskyi district — 3.2 million, Tsentralnyi — 5.8 million, Korabelnyi — 4.3 million, Inhulskyi — 326 thousand.
It was previously reported that the Mykolaiv Parks utility company intends to purchase 511 tree saplings and 16,420 bushes for 7,726,475 hryvnias. After that, the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkovych , asked the townspeople whether it is worth buying seedlings.
Later, at the budget commission, Oleksandr Sienkevych proposed that 7 million hryvnias be used for the purchase of pickup trucks for the military, with which they plan to plant new trees and bushes in the city.
