Insulation of premises, audits and reconstruction: next year, they plan to spend ₴51 million on the Warm Mykolaiv program

In Mykolaiv, for 2024, they plan to spend 51 million hryvnias from the city budget on the Warm Mykolaiv program.

The corresponding project of the decision on making changes to the program was adopted by the members of the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council.

It is noted that the program envisages the implementation of energy saving measures and increasing the level of energy efficiency of budget sector buildings and residential buildings during 2017-2024 for a total amount of 836 million 589 thousand 338 hryvnias. 785 million 14 thousand 338 hryvnias were spent on program activities for 2017-2023.

Funds in the amount of 51 million 575 thousand hryvnias are provided for 2024. Of these, 700,000 hryvnias have been earmarked for energy audits and development of energy passports. 6 million hryvnias will be spent on the implementation of energy saving measures. For these funds, interest rates or parts of the loan must be reimbursed under 120 contracts.

2 million 500 thousand hryvnias are planned to support the activities of the municipal institution Energy Efficiency Center of the City of Mykolaiv.

Also next year they plan to spend 21 million 75 thousand hryvnias to carry out energy saving and energy efficiency measures. We are talking about warming the premises.

The implementation of the investment project DemoUkrainaDH in the city of Mykolaiv is also planned. As part of the program, two heat supply facilities are to be reconstructed for 15 million 500 thousand hryvnias.

We remind you that in May of this year , the Executive Committee of the Mykolaiv City Council agreed to extend the term of the municipal energy saving program Warm Mykolaiv for one year. Then, for 2024, 15 million hryvnias were allocated for program activities.

It was previously reported that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the specialized equipment of the Energy Efficiency Center has disappeared from Mykolayiv City Hall, in particular, thermal imagers and gas analyzers necessary for conducting an energy audit, as well as personal office equipment of employees. The special equipment was on the balance sheet of the utility company Institute of Socio-Economic Development of the City.
