Kim reported that 342 Mykolaiv enterprises were relocated since the beginning of the war: «Economic losses are about pain»

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, 342 enterprises have relocated from the territory of Mykolaiv region, another 165 have stopped their work.

This was said by the head of the Mykolayiv RMA Vitalii Kim during a press conference where he reported on the work of the regional government based on the results of 2023, writes NikVesti.

«Economic losses are about pain. We have relocated 342 enterprises, 165 have ceased operations because they were destroyed or damaged. We expect a decrease of personal income tax by at least 13%, but not in comparison with 2022, but with 2021. Why 2021? Because we will be compensated for the budget shortfall with a subvention. Production was reduced by 50% — half, let's say. Closed ports are the main problem we live with. Three large enterprises have resumed work,» said Vitalii Kim.

It was previously reported that as of May of this year, Mykolaiv enterprises working during the war owed their employees 18.7 million hryvnias in wages.

We remind that in December of last year, Vitalii Kim reported that after the liberation of Kherson, many small enterprises began to return to Mykolaiv, but big business is not yet in a hurry to restore capacities in the region.

We also remind you that in a year and a half since the beginning of the great war, as of the end of September 2023, 840 enterprises have moved to safer regions in Ukraine under the relocation program.

In particular, as of May, the work of four large enterprises has already resumed in the Mykolaiv region. We are talking about the Agrofusion and PepsiCo companies, the Yantar brewery and the Nibulon company.

In April, it became known about the resumption of work at the tomato processing plant of the Agrofusion company in the deoccupied Snigurivka. PepsiCo resumed its operations in early May.
