The World Bank announced a new aid package for Ukraine in the amount of 750 million dollars.

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

He noted that the funds are provided within the framework of the project «Support for Reconstruction through Smart Fiscal Management» (SURGE), which is aimed at supporting institutional reforms necessary for joining the European Union. Part of this amount will be allocated from the ADVANCE Ukraine fund, which is supported by the Government of Japan.

«Implementation of the program will help to strengthen the work of state institutions in the conditions of war, to provide key state services to citizens in full. Reforms within the project are aimed at improving the efficiency of public investment and public finance management. If necessary, funding can be increased,» said Denys Shmyhal.

We would like to remind you that more than 80% of Ukrainians would participate in the referendum on joining the EU and NATO, if it were to take place in the near future. Of them, 88% voted for joining the EU, and 86% would support joining NATO.

It was also reported that according to the results of the survey, 38% of Ukrainians believe that the West is getting tired of providing aid to Ukraine, but 54% of Ukrainians believe that the West supports the desire to end the war on terms that will be acceptable to Ukraine.
