The European Union condemned Russia's holding of «elections» in the occupied territories of Ukraine and threatened the organizers with consequences. They noted that Russia violates international law and the sovereignty of Ukraine.
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has been present in Ukraine since 2014. However, since the beginning of the Great War, the organization has significantly expanded its activities and opened offices in six more cities, including Mykolaiv. Currently, the NRC representative office in Ukraine provides support to forcibly displaced people and people affected by the war: food, housing, water, improvement of sanitary conditions, financial and legal assistance.
