On Tuesday, 11 March, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision that is part of the roaming «visa-free» regime with the European Union.
This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, this will strengthen the connection of Ukrainians abroad with their homeland and contribute to the unity and consolidation of the people.
«Every day Ukraine confirms its historic European choice. Our country has gone from applying for EU membership to opening pre-accession negotiations very quickly. In the future, we will act with the same determination and activity», the Prime Minister said.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law on a single roaming zone with the European Union.
Last April, the Council of the European Union supported Ukraine's accession to the EU's free roaming zone, which will allow Ukrainians to pay less for roaming in European countries.
