The United Kingdom will continue to train the Ukrainian military and supply weapons, despite Russia's demands to stop foreign military aid to achieve peace.

This was reported by The Guardian, citing sources in the British defence sector.

Following US President Donald Trump's phone call with Vladimir Putin, the British government stressed that its position had not changed. In 2025, London has allocated £4.5 billion (over $5 billion) for military support to Ukraine, and this assistance will continue regardless of Moscow's demands.

Earlier, the European Union also stated that it would continue to supply weapons to Ukraine even if a 30-day ceasefire is agreed.

As a reminder, Donald Trump himself claims that during his conversation with Vladimir Putin, the issue of ending military aid to Ukraine was not discussed, despite the Kremlin's claims.
