Sea ports of Odesa have transshipped almost 90 million tons of cargo since the beginning of the year

In 11 months of 2024, Odesa seaports handled 89.8 million tons of cargo — 1.7 times more than in the same period of 2023.
Oleh Kiper, the head of Odesa RMA, reported that in November the overloading amounted to 7.6 million tons, of which 4.6 million tons were agricultural products.
«The Ukrainian corridor initiated by the President of Ukraine remains reliable for world trade: 85.8 million tons of cargo, including 57.3 million tons of grain, have already been exported. More than 3,200 vessels have used its capabilities, which underlines the strategic importance of our ports,» he wrote.
He emphasized that the coordinated work of the military, port officials and the support of international partners help ensure global food security.
It was previously reported that in seven months of 2024, Ukrainian seaports processed 59.9 million tons of cargo.
