Almost ₴1.6 billion in 2024: Kiper reports on how business is supported in Odesa region

In 2024, more than 1.57 billion hryvnias was allocated to support businesses in Odesa region under state and regional programmes. Funding was allocated to help veterans, entrepreneurs in the processing industry, horticulture and greenhouse farming.
This was announced by Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military District Administration.
In particular, under the veterans' support programme, 35 participants received 17 million hryvnias to start a business. The programme «Own Business» supported 788 entrepreneurs with 195.6 million hryvnias.
In addition, 13 processing companies in the region received grants worth 68.2 million hryvnias. Five greenhouse farms received 30 million hryvnias in grants. In addition, 13 entrepreneurs attracted grants for the development of horticulture and received 41.7 million hryvnias.
As part of the «Affordable Loans 5-7-9%» programme, 6374 agreements totalling 23.7 billion hryvnias were concluded.
Oleh Kiper also noted that in 2024, an office of «Made in Ukraine» was opened in Odesa, and in 2025, similar offices will appear in Izmail, Bolhrad and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
Earlier, a new brand concept and identity for the region was presented in Odesa region. The key values of the new concept are cultural diversity, innovation, freedom and development.
