Eight Mykolaiv enterprises ended last year with losses of more than ₴400 million

Eight communal enterprises of Mykolaiv ended 2023 with significant losses. Most of them are at «Mykolaivvodokanal», «Mykolaivvoblteploenergo» and «Mykolaivelectrotrans».

This became known on Wednesday, July 10, during a meeting of the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council, NikVesti writes.

Tetiana Shulichenko, director of the Department of Economy of the Mykolaiv City Council, reported that the total amount of losses for these eight enterprises amounted to 424.7 million hryvnias.

Although «Mykolaivvodokanal», «Mykolaivvoblteploenergo» and «Mykolaivelectrotrans» are the largest employers among KPs, the average salary of employees there is 16 thousand hryvnias.

It was also reported that the total amount of receivables of utility companies is 695 million hryvnias, and accounts payable is 652.8 million hryvnias.

At the same time, 21 out of 29 utility companies ended the year with a profit of 36 million hryvnias, which is 23.5% more than in 2022. The best indicators are at Mykolaivpastrans, ZhKP «Bryz» and «Mykolaivcommuntrans».

We will remind that for 2022 Mykolaiv enterprises have accumulated losses of almost 300 million hryvnias. This is four times more compared to the pre-war year 2021.
