The libraries of Mykolaiv region received more than 5,000 books of modern Ukrainian literature

5 thousand 289 copies of modern Ukrainian literature from 13 regions of the country were received by the Mykolaiv Regional Library.
During the briefing, the head of the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Religions of Mykolaiv RMA Olena Buberenko announced this, they write NikVesti.
Olena Buberenko noted that the books arrived as part of the campaign «The Free Read in Ukrainian», the purpose of which is to support libraries affected by Russian aggression.
«We summarized the results of the first stage of the campaign. As of October 1, the Mykolaiv Regional Universal Library received 5,289 publications from 68 educational institutions from 13 regions of Ukraine. This is modern Ukrainian literature,» said Olena Buberenko.
She also informed that the books were given to seven library institutions of the region.
We will remind you that the manuscript «Lament of the Kherson region» about the events in the region during the Russian invasion was presented in Mykolaiv. The book is handwritten and exists in a single copy.
