Following the Russian attack on Mykolaiv city centre on the night of 10 October, 356 shattered windows, 49 doors and damage to two roofs were recorded. Preparations are underway to dismantle slabs and other structures near a severely damaged four-storey building.

This was reported by the mayor, Oleksandr Sienkevych, on his Telegram channel.

According to him, damaged buildings include blocks of flats and commercial premises. The exact number of flats affected by the attack is still being determined.

A cherry picker is operating at the scene, and specialists are preparing to dismantle the damaged structures of the four-storey building. Municipal services are clearing the area, boarding up shattered windows and inspecting the roofs. A commission is documenting the consequences of the shelling.

Traffic on Blagovishnogo Street (Nikolskaya) is closed between Mariupolska Street and Heroes of the Rescuers Street (Lyagina). Drivers are asked to take this into account when planning their routes.
