The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision that will allow Ukraine to receive 4.8 billion dollars from the World Bank.

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

«Ukraine will receive 4.8 billion dollars from the World Bank. A decision was made today that will allow to attract these funds within the framework of the PEACE project. This is aid financed by the United States and development partners,» Shmyhal wrote.

According to the head of the government, these funds will be used for social and humanitarian programs.

He also added that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukraine has received more than $100 billion in foreign funding.

It was previously reported that Ukraine received a $3.9 billion grant from the United States through the World Bank.
