Ukraine will receive hundreds of thousands of projectiles, thousands of rockets and hundreds of armored vehicles by mid-January. In addition, the US agreed to provide $20 billion in loans backed by profits from frozen Russian assets.

This was stated by White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan during a meeting with the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, writes The Guardian.

It is noted that during the meeting, which lasted more than an hour, Jake Sullivan promised to transfer to Ukraine hundreds of thousands of additional artillery shells, thousands of missiles and hundreds of armored vehicles. The US will also help Ukraine with the training of the mobilized, which will be carried out abroad.

In addition, he recalled the practically implemented decision to provide Ukraine with a $20 billion loan guaranteed by frozen Russian assets.

Also, the US President's national security adviser announced a number of new sanctions against Russia, which will be implemented by Washington in the coming weeks. All of them aim to complicate Russia's ability to support its military efforts and strengthen Ukraine's position at the negotiating table, the official concluded.

As you know, the Ukrainian delegation led by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak met with representatives of the newly elected US President Donald Trump in Washington. The purpose of the visit was to establish cooperation with the future US administration to obtain support in the war against Russia.

We will remind that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken assured NATO and the Ukrainian side to fully use the $61 billion funding for Ukraine approved by Congress. Anthony Blinken noted that he was satisfied with the distribution of aid costs to Ukraine between the United States and other NATO partners.
