The Ukrainian delegation headed by the head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak met with representatives of the newly elected US President Donald Trump.

According to the agency, the Ukrainian delegation met in Washington with Trump's nominee for the post of White House National Security Adviser, Mike Waltz, and the candidate for the post of special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.

It is noted that the purpose of the visit was to establish cooperation with the future US administration in order to receive support in the war against Russia.

Previously, the publication NV, with reference to sources, wrote about the visit of Andrii Yermak. According to the publication, the Ukrainian delegation also included Minister of Defense Rustem Umierov and Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko.

We will remind that Donald Trump's special envoy for the war in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, presented a new plan for a peaceful settlement of the conflict, which proposes freezing the front line, creating a demilitarized zone and postponing Ukraine's accession to NATO for an indefinite period.
