Doctors in Mykolaiv region received a mobile clinic worth €200 thousand

In December, the Domanivka community in Mykolaiv region received a modern mobile clinic from the German development agency GIZ. The special vehicle costs 200,000 euros, and now doctors will be able to serve villages that do not have first aid stations.

This is discussed in the report of Suspilne.

According to Eduard Shaparenko, director of the municipal non-profit enterprise «Center for Primary Medical and Sanitary Care» of the Domanivka Village Council, the special vehicle was received as part of the «Strong Regions» program.

He noted that the mobile clinic performs an important function even in settlements where there are medical centers.

«This machine is useful, for example, to conduct some instrumental studies - an electrocardiogram, blood test, urine test. So that people no longer go to the community», - he said.

According to Viktor Vlasiuk, head of the Domanivka Village Council, participation in the program requires a responsible approach.

«We wrote our vision, they supported us. They directly provided the equipment, installed it and connected»,» he said.

Thanks to the support of German partners, the community received not only a mobile clinic. The roof of the Domanivka hospital was repaired, a boiler room, solar panels were installed, and a modern call center was created.

So, operator Liliia Korenchuk says that the call center works from Monday to Friday, receiving up to 170 calls every day.
