Residents of «Riviera» in Namyv district still have no heat due to a debt of more than ₴7 million

The utility company «Mykolayovoblteploenergo» is ready to take over the boiler house of the «Riviera» residential complex, which is still not supplied with heat energy due to debts to NJSC Naftohaz.

This was stated by the director of the enterprise, Mykola Lohvinov, during the briefing, NikVesti reports.

As Mykola Lohvinov explained, the boiler houses of the building are on the balance sheet of the managing company «Zhek-5», which owes more than 7 million hryvnias to Naftohaz. In May, «ZHEK-5» appealed to Mykolaivoblteploenerho with a request to take over the boiler house and supply the house with heat.

The residents themselves oppose this decision, therefore, as of the end of December, the residential complex remains without heat supply.

«Zhek-5» contacted us back in May of this year. According to the law, if you rent a boiler room, the gas debts are transferred to the entities of heat generation. The debts of «Zhek-5» to NJSC Naftohaz are 7.5 million hryvnias, and this is only gas. There is a problem with accounting. We are ready, the city is ready to accept these three boiler houses along with the debt on the balance sheet, then we will bring these boiler houses to order,» said Mykola Logvinov.

The director of the KP said that the residents tried to conclude gas supply contracts with Mykolaivhaz and Naftohaz JSC without taking into account the debts, but the companies refused them. At the same time, he emphasized that the city is ready to take the boiler house of the residential complex on its balance sheet along with the debts.

«Some residents of «Riviera» decided that they are the most cunning and can not pay their debts, they are above the law. All the time, there is blather, negativity. They made two condominiums, one boiler room for one, two boiler rooms for the others and tried to conclude contracts with JSC Naftohaz and Mykolaivhaz for the supply of gas without taking into account debts. These debts will not be forgiven. Now the situation is deadlocked. As far as I know, OJSC Naftohaz refused this condominium to enter into a contract without acknowledging debts. They have not contacted us yet. If they apply, the city will give the go-ahead to take the boiler house on balance and provide heat to people ready.»

According to Mykola Lohvinov, the residents of «Riviera» call the company almost every day with the question of when they will be supplied with heat, but the director of the KP said that currently the solution to this problem is not within the competence of the regional heat and power company.

As you know, in 2020, after one of the residents of the «Riviera» residential complex began the illegal construction of an extension, cracks appeared on the building of the house.
