regional municipal heating utility in Mykolaiv

Mykolaivoblteploenergo is a regional municipal utility that supplies heating and hot water to homes, public institutions and businesses in Mykolaiv. As of March 2026, it is headed by Mykola Lohvinov.

The company carries heavy debts: the state has not repaid it ₴1.5 billion in tariff differences, while the utility itself owes Naftogaz almost ₴800 million. As of 15 September 2026, Mykolaiv residents owed it ₴237.9 million for heating. At the same time, it launched a line producing pellets from wood waste and sought a contractor for a 9.9 MW solar power plant funded by Denmark.
