Residents of the town of Snihurivka in the Mykolaiv region talked about the rocket attack by the Russian invaders and showed its consequences.
A local resident told about this in the story of the «News of Azov» project.
Mykola Oleksienko says that the attack took place in the evening. The family was in one of the rooms of the house when the blast wave blew out windows, doors and the ceiling.
«At half past six in the evening, a powerful explosion occurred. We were just watching TV in bed. Good thing the wall protected us from the debris from the windows that got stuck in it. If it weren't for this wall, we probably wouldn't be alive. It was very difficult to survive. The house is on fire, the district is on fire. The door collapsed because the ceiling fell, we kicked it out with our feet, and people got out as best they could,» says the man.
As a result of the impact, the man's car was also damaged. It has an engine pierced through by a piece of debris.
«A lot of debris fell on the car. The car is not subject to any repair, it has a punctured engine. The house is now without windows, everything is damaged. The garage completely collapsed, the cellar was left without a roof,» Mykola Oleksienko said.
The roof that we covered now, the boys helped us, it was on fire on the day of the explosion.
Almost nothing remained intact in the house itself, except for some furniture: a table, chairs and a wardrobe.
Rocket attack on Snihurivka
At the beginning of the year, on January 3, Russian troops shelled Snihurivka. As a result of the blow, a woman, two men and a 15-year-old girl were injured, who was in a serious condition.
Vitalii Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv RMA, said that the child had to be transported to the Mykolaiv hospital.
That evening, the occupiers hit the city with three S-300 missiles.
The next day, communal services eliminated the consequences of yesterday's rocket attack on the outskirts of the city. About 40 private houses were damaged in the city, of which 4 houses were completely destroyed.
Before that, on January 2, the Russian military launched a missile attack on the Snihurivka community.
