Snihurivka is a town in the Bashtanka district of Mykolaiv Oblast with a current population of about 15,000 people. On March 19, 2022, nearly all of Snihurivka community’s territory, including Snihurivka itself, was occupied by Russian forces during the offensive on Ukraine's southern regions. The period of occupation led to severe infrastructure damage, a humanitarian crisis, and numerous war crimes committed by Russian forces. On November 10, 2022, during a southern counteroffensive, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the community from Russian occupation. This section provides information on the city's recovery, infrastructure restoration, and support for residents following liberation.
