The former Ukrposhta building in Snigurivka has been put up for auction. It has an area of over 3,200 square metres, and the starting price is 7,442,976 hryvnias.
The Prozorro.Sales electronic trading system website states that the auction will take place on 11 April 2026, according to NikVesti.
Bids can be submitted from 24 February to 10 March 2026 (until 20:00). The minimum price increase is 372,148 hryvnias (5%). The same amount is required as a security deposit.
The auction will be held in the format of a three-round English auction through the Prozorro.Sales system. Participants first submit closed bids and then raise their bids over three rounds. If only one participant registers, they will be able to purchase the lot at the proposed price.
The sale of this property is part of a broader campaign: Ukrposhta previously announced the sale of 20 unused properties with a total area of 32,800 square metres, with a starting price of over 200 million hryvnias. The proceeds are planned to be used for the company's development.
«What we are putting up for auction: 20 unused real estate properties with a total area of 32,800 m² — this is about 3% of the company's portfolio. The starting price is over 200 million hryvnias. The final price will depend on demand. The properties that we no longer use in our operations range from a small premises in a village in Zakarpattia to a former sorting centre in Lviv with an area of 5,600 m². More details about it are provided below. What we expect: savings on the maintenance of these properties and tax payments of over 3 million hryvnias, profits from the sale in the tens of millions of hryvnias, which will go towards investments in Ukrposhta,» said Ihor Smilianskyi.
According to him, the proceeds from the sale will be used to invest in the development of Ukrposhta — new post offices, vehicles, and sorting lines.
«Ukrposhta has a building on its balance sheet, a kind of 'barn' worth 10 million hryvnias, which costs 500,000 hryvnias a year to maintain (security, taxes, etc.). We put it up for sale and sold it for 12 million, and with these funds we bought 80 post office machines. What do we have as a result: there was a barn, now there are 80 new post office machines for people,» added Ihor Smilianskyi.
Ukrposhta responded to criticism of their working conditions in Mykolaiv
Volodymyr Ocheretniuk, director of network development for the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions of JSC Ukrposhta, responded to a statement by the representative of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights regarding the unsatisfactory condition of post offices in Mykolaiv. In a comment to NikVesti, he said that problems do exist, but the situation is not as critical as it is being presented publicly.
He explained that some of the offices are already in the process of being renovated or prepared for renovation. In particular, office №34 is planning to replace the floor covering and renovate the premises closer to the summer.
Volodymyr Ocheretniuk also commented on the situation with the post offices in Matviivka.
«In Matviivka, Ternivka, and Kulbakyne, there are physically no premises where we could move. And here Mr. Spartak is being a little disingenuous. But that's his job, his set of tasks: everything is bad. There are no vacant premises there, we want to, but there is no possibility. When you know this from the inside, you look at it differently. Not everything is perfect here, but when everyone is levelled by one or two branches, and we have 30 of them in Mykolaiv, it's a little offensive,» said the representative of Ukrposhta.
He also stressed that the company does not receive funding from the state budget and carries out all repairs at its own expense.
