Russian troops shell Kyiv, inflicting damage and injuries

On the morning of February 7, Russian troops shelled Kyiv, the injured continue to be taken to hospitals. Two high-voltage lines were also damaged.

This was announced by the mayor of the capital Vitalii Klychko.

As of 8:45 a.m., there are five wounded — two in the Dniprovskyi district and three in Holosiivskyi. There is damage to the power grid in both of these districts. According to preliminary data, a building caught fire in the Holosiivskyi district.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a high-rise building was damaged, and a fire started there. Also, in the Dnipro district, one injured person was assisted on the spot. The KCRA clarified that the fall of rocket fragments was recorded in the Dnipro region.

«As a result of an enemy attack, two high-voltage lines in the capital were damaged by rocket fragments. Some of the consumers on the left bank are currently without electricity,» the city mayor said in a statement.

According to Vitalii Klychko, cars and service station premises are on fire in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital. All services are on site

The heat supply main on the left bank of the capital was also damaged as a result of the enemy attack.

We will remind you that on the morning of February 7, Russian soldiers attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed and rockets. One person died as a result of the shelling.
