This week, the Russian occupiers struck the Ukrzaliznytsia power system in northern Ukraine.

This was reported by the company's press service.

«As a result of the attack, the company's substations were damaged and some parts of the tracks were temporarily de-energized. Train delays were minimized to 40 minutes, and the light returned to the homes of the residents of the region as quickly as possible,» the message reads.

Currently, Ukrzaliznytsia is working on restoring the company's energy system.

It will be recalled that on August 1, the Russian military launched a missile attack on one of the railway stations in the Kharkiv Region. Among the damaged are two locomotives, cargo and passenger cars. There is also destruction of tracks and means of electricity supply.
