Two modern trolleybuses were delivered to Mykolaiv. They are equipped with a system of autonomous movement, air conditioning and adapted for the transportation of people in wheelchairs.
As the press service of the Mykolaiv City Council reports, the city already has 7 out of more than 30 contracted trolleybuses with autonomous operation.
«You can also charge gadgets in transport — there are USB connectors. All this significantly increases the level of comfort of the citizens. Mykolaiv received Ukrainian-made PTS trolleybuses. This took place within the framework of a joint project with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and with the support of the Danish Government. They can travel 20 km without recharging. In addition, thanks to the regenerative braking system, it is possible to achieve electricity savings of 20%. Such options are very important in conditions where the lights are turned off due to Russian shelling,» the message reads.
As a reminder, Ukrainian cities received 52 units of trolleybuses in 2023, of which 28 were new and 24 were used. Last year, Mykolaiv received seven new Dnipro T203 trolleybuses from international financial organizations.
