Mykolaiv Vodokanal once again calls on citizens to pay for services: the debt has already amounted to more than ₴249 million

In August 2024, the indebtedness of the townspeople to the Mykolaivvodokanal utility company increased by over 600,000 hryvnias. Mykolaiv residents are again called to pay their water debts.

Such statistics are announced by the press service of the enterprise.

As of 2024, the city's total debt to the KP already amounts to 248 million 604 thousand hryvnias. They note that the company works and functions efficiently due to the timely payment of funds for the services rendered.

«Are you in doubt: is it worth paying off the debt for the provided communal services? Discussions on this issue are ongoing. However, conscious consumers understand that for the provided water supply and drainage services, in particular, it is necessary to pay on time. After all, the enterprise must pay its contractual obligations for electricity, reagents, water, which it also buys, and pay salaries to its employees. The utility company works and functions efficiently at the expense of timely and full payment by subscribers of the service provided. Water supply and drainage services have been provided, and payment is again 93-95 percent,» the company writes.

Mykolaivvodokanal offers subscribers to apply to KP to conclude a debt restructuring agreement in order to avoid an increase in the amount.

Earlier, the utility company reported that if the residents of Mykolaiv continue to neglect the payment of debts for water supply and drainage services, the utility company Mykolaivvodokanal will be on the verge of closure.
