Mykolaiv municipal water supply and sewerage company

Mykolaivvodokanal is the municipal company that supplies water to Mykolaiv and runs its sewerage. In April 2022 Russian shelling left the city without a centralised drinking water supply, and the water network of about 1,200 km was later damaged by salty water. Since January 2026 the company has been headed by Hennadii Iziumov, former director of the Mariupol water utility. Head of the regional administration Vitalii Kim called the new water pipeline for Mykolaiv one of his most successful projects. In April 2026 the director said tap water quality had improved, but in autumn 46% of samples showed water getting worse inside the city mains. Since 1 October 2026 the sewerage charge has been UAH 41.25 per cubic metre.
