Law enforcement officers accuse two women who worked in managerial positions in the illegally created tax service of the Kherson region.

This is reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

It is noted that in June 2022, the 51-year-old and 48-year-old suspects agreed to work in the positions of «head of the general department» and «deputy head of the taxpayer registration and accounting department» in the illegally created «Tax Service of the Kherson Region».

«Women contributed to the occupying power in spreading the authority of illegally created bodies among the local population, which led to the strengthening of the measures of temporary occupation of the territories of the Kherson region,» the report says.

The Kherson regional prosecutor's office of the region informed two residents in absentia about the suspicion of voluntarily occupying a position in an illegal law enforcement agency, which is provided for by part 7 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

We will remind, the law enforcement officers are accusing a resident of Kherson, who was preparing to hold an illegal referendum on joining the region to the Russian Federation.
