Only 10 buildings in Mykolaiv remain without heating during power cuts, according to the director of the regional heating company

Director of OKP Mykolaivoblteploenergo Mykola Lohvinov said that out of 1,300 buildings heated by the regional heating company, about 10 remain without heat during power outages.

This is stated in NikVesti «Heat, water distribution points and the work of schools: what is the current situation in Mykolaiv».

According to him, the problems arise due to outdated equipment in the buildings.

«The city has heat, water and electricity, although there are occasional interruptions. In 85% of buildings, boiler rooms operate continuously, even in the absence of electricity. There are 1,300 buildings in Mykolaiv that are heated by Mykolaivoblteploenergo. Problems are observed only in 10 buildings due to old equipment and an outdated system, but in general, 85-90% of buildings are constantly supplied with heat,» said Mykola Lohvinov.

We remind you that tomorrow, 21 January, severe cold in the Mykolaiv region. At night, the temperature will drop to −8 to −13 °C, and during the day, the air will warm up to only −3 to +2 °C.

In Mykolaiv, −9 to −11 °C at night and 0–2 °C during the day. Fog and icy roads are possible in some areas, with a south wind of 5–10 m/s and no precipitation forecast.
