Investigating judge of the Central District Court of Mykolaiv, Halyna Podzihun, sent a resident of Kherson, suspected of aiding the Russians during the occupation of the city, into custody without bail.
This was reported by the press service of the Central District Court of Mykolaiv.
According to the petition materials, during the occupation of Kherson, the woman voluntarily agreed to head a kindergarten illegally created by the administration of the Russian Federation.
According to the case, the suspect hired staff, received children's books in Russian imported from the territory of the Russian Federation, ensured the payment of wages in Russian rubles, implemented Russian educational standards.
During the hearing, the court investigated, in particular, the testimony of kindergarten employees who reported that the suspect repeatedly invited them to work at an institution controlled by the Russian Federation, noted that it was a great honor for them to work for the Russian Federation, to which they refused.
At the court hearing, the suspect did not admit her guilt, she said that she remained working in the same position she held before. She asked not to apply a preventive measure related to her detention.
The defender asked to choose a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.
According to the results of the investigation, investigating judge Halyna Podzihun decided to apply to the suspect a preventive measure in the form of detention without determining the amount of bail.
