Damage to the environment from enemy attacks in Ochakiv district at the beginning of July reached ₴46 million

Due to the fires that broke out after the shelling of Ochakiv district at the beginning of July, environmental damage amounted to more than 46 million hryvnias.

This was reported in the State Environmental Inspection of the South-Western District.

On the first day of July, Ochakiv was subjected to intense shelling. Due to this, numerous fires were recorded in the city, the area of which was more than 53 thousand square meters. The total amount of caused damages is more than 8.4 million hryvnias.

In addition, on the second of July, the Russians, using an FPV drone, dropped incendiary ammunition on the outskirts of the Kutsurub community. Then the fire destroyed 15 hectares of wheat and 2 hectares of dry land. The total amount of damages from this strike is more than 37.7 million hryvnias.

We will remind that in the afternoon, on July 16, the Russian military attacked the Kutsurub community in Mykolaiv Oblast with an FPV-type kamikaze drone.

We will also remind you that almost 150 fires in open areas were recorded in Mykolaiv Oblast in four days. During these days, 200 hectares of territories, including fields, forests and forest strips, were burned due to fires.
