Since the beginning of the war, three energy workers have been killed and another 51 injured in shelling of the TPP

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 51 energy workers have been injured and three people have died from enemy attacks on the DTEK thermal power plant.

This was reported by the General Director of DPEK Energo, Ildar Saleiev.

According to him, the Ukrainian energy industry was the target of Russian attacks a few days before the full-scale invasion, when the already occupied Luhansk TPP was attacked.

«Energy remains a priority target even now, because since February 2022 only the DPEK Energo thermal power plant has been attacked almost 180 times. one attack on one TPP of the company every 4.4 days of war,» Ildar Saleiev wrote on his Facebook.

He also added that 51 energy workers were injured and three people died during the performance of their professional duties at thermal power plants due to Russian attacks.

Only a week ago, two of our energy workers were injured by yet another massive shelling by the enemy. Fortunately, they are alive,» Ildar Saleiev clarified.
