Fragments of rockets fell in six districts in Kyiv, there are fires and victims

In Kyiv, people are hiding in the subway.

On Monday, July 8, Russian troops attacked Kyiv. There is information about the fall of rocket debris in six districts of the city.

This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.

«As a result of the missile attack on Kyiv, debris was recorded in the Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi and Holosiivskyi districts. First, there is ignition. Information about the destruction and victims is being clarified,» the message reads.

Later it became known that as a result of a missile attack on Kyiv, debris was recorded in the Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Holosiivskyi districts. Preliminary data:

• there is damage to an office building in the Solomianskyi district;
• in Holosiivskyi, debris fell near a residential building;
• in Dniprovskyi, debris in a residential building is burning.
• a private house was damaged in Darnytskyi district;
• in the Desnianskyi district of the building.

Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko also reported that three people were injured in the city.

«At the moment, three victims are known. One of them was hospitalized. Two were given help on the spot. We are checking the information about one dead person,» added the mayor of the capital.

We will remind that the Russian army attacked Ukraine with air and ground-based missiles. On the night of July 8, air defense shot down three X-101 missiles.
