Large-scale fire near Mykolaiv: 5 hectares of forest strip is on fire

On Monday, August 12, in the village of Polovynky, near Mykolaiv, a forest strip was occupied.
Illiana Patsiuk, press officer of the main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region, informed NikVesti about this.
According to rescuers, 5 hectares of coniferous litter and trees have already burned. 4 State fire and rescue units work there. Currently, 4 more teams of rescuers have been dispatched to the scene of the fire.
We will remind you that on August 11 and on the night of August 12, firefighters were involved 39 times in Mykolaiv Oblast to extinguish fires. Five of them occurred on the territory of private houses, two — at the enterprise, and 32 — in natural ecosystems.
