A Russian serviceman of the 126th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade of the Russian Federation, who raped a minor girl in the Kherson region, was informed of suspicion.

As reported in the Prosecutor General's Office, in February 2022, the suspect, together with other military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces, occupied one of the settlements of the Kherson Region.

According to the investigation, a Russian serviceman and another serviceman of the Russian Federation detained a minor girl at gunpoint. They took her to one of the houses in the city.

It is noted that later in March the suspect raped her. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway.

It was previously reported that the law enforcement officers reported suspicion to a Russian serviceman who, during the occupation of the Kinburn Peninsula, gave orders to detain local residents, who were later taken to the neighboring territory of the occupied Kherson region and subjected to torture.
