On May 19, Russian troops dropped ammunition from a drone on rescuers during the liquidation of the consequences of enemy shelling in the Zaporizhzhia region.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
As noted, this happened in the village of Novoandriivka, Zaporizhzhia region.
«Rescuers were putting out the fire in the house after the shelling. Then the enemy made a repeated, insidious attack — dropped the ammunition from the drone. As a result, one rescuer received minor injuries,» the message reads.
We will remind, as a result of an enemy missile attack on Odesa on March 15 this year, emergency services workers were killed. It is also known about injured doctors and rescuers.
It will be recalled that on March 15, the Russians attacked a residential quarter of Odessa with two Iskander ballistic missiles. The first one hit a civilian building, which resulted in numerous victims among local residents. And when rescuers, ambulance workers and journalists arrived, the occupiers attacked them with a second rocket. As a result, emergency services workers were killed and doctors and rescuers were injured.
