Mykolaiv’s municipal workers have planted 120 trees on company premises; Sienkevych says «it’s not enough»

This was announced on 15 June during a staff meeting chaired by the Mayor of Mykolaiv, according to NikVesti.
Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych asked the heads of the municipal enterprises how many trees had been planted on their premises.
According to representatives of the enterprises, the «Mykolaivpastrans» municipal enterprise planted 19 trees. Yurii Smetana, director of the «Mykolaivelektrotrans» municipal enterprise, noted that over the past two years, more than 40 trees had been planted on the enterprise’s premises.
Vitalii Shevchenko, a representative of the municipal enterprise «ELU Avtodorig», reported that 30 trees had been planted during the spring and autumn campaigns of the previous period.
Dmytro Chuchmai, head of the municipal enterprise «Mykolaiv Parks», noted that 27 trees had been planted on the enterprise’s premises this year.

«That’s not enough. We’ll return to this issue at the end of September,» the mayor emphasised.
It was previously reported that the municipal enterprise «Mykolaiv Parks» had responded to Mykolaiv residents regarding who is responsible for removing dangerous trees from courtyards.
