President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in an evening address on December 21, called the Russian attack on the oncology clinic in Kherson a targeted mockery of people.
«Today, the dismantling of debris and rubble in Kyiv after yesterday's rocket attack was completed. And today, work is also continuing in Kherson during the day — after Russian bombs hit the oncology clinic. Fortunately, there were no casualties: people were in shelters — patients and medical personnel», said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The President emphasized that the Russians knew that this was a medical institution important to the residents of Kherson.
«The Russians could not help but know that this is a medical institution, and one that is very valuable for the people of Kherson. And this targeted attack is nothing more than a mockery of the people,» the president said.
Zelenskyy also mentioned the Russian attacks on Kharkiv, Nikopol, and the Donetsk region, which he said were part of a deliberate terrorist tactic.
«Just the terror that Russia is doing deliberately and for which these inhumans from the Russian aviation are even rewarded. But they will definitely be held accountable — such a time will come. And we will definitely continue to strike at Russian military facilities — with drones and missiles, and increasingly Ukrainian ones, at precisely those military bases, at precisely that Russian military infrastructure that is used in such terror against our people. Our defense is absolutely fair», he said.
Recall that last night, Russian troops carried out an air strike, launching two KABs at an oncology clinic in Kherson.
