Due to the worsening situation at the front due to the enemy's offensive in the Kharkiv region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave an order to postpone all international events with his participation.
Serhii Nikiforov, Volodymyr Zelenskyy's press secretary, reported this.
«Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed to postpone all international events with his participation, planned for the coming days, and to work out new dates. We are grateful to our partners for their understanding,» he wrote.
At the selector's meeting on May 15, it was primarily about the situation in the Kharkiv region and the issue of providing for the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The President listened to the report of the Chief of the General Staff, Anatolii Barhylevych.
It is indicated that «the commanders of the SDSU, NSU and Oleksandr Syrskyi directly, the head, who makes all decisions on the basis of comprehensive information, are working on the spot.»
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, additional forces are being deployed, there are reserves. Reconnaissance — MDI and FISU — see all probable steps of the enemy.
Earlier it was reported that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, canceled his planned visit to Portugal and Spain this week. The visits were canceled due to the tense internal situation at the front, where the occupying forces went on the offensive in the north of the Kharkiv region.
Russian offensive on Kharkiv Oblast
It will be recalled that Russian troops intensified their shelling in the northern direction of the Kharkiv region. First of all, the enemy attacks the city of Vovchansk.

Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov said that there are no plans to evacuate the population from Kharkiv today. At the same time, people are being brought to the city from the region, from areas where hostilities are ongoing.
