It is planned to hold a competition to find a contractor who will install boiler rooms in three hospitals free of charge in Mykolaiv

In Mykolaiv, it is planned to find a contractor who will install and maintain boiler rooms for free in three city medical institutions: emergency medical care hospital, hospitals №4 and №5.

NikVesti wrote about this during a meeting of the Mykolaiv City Council commission on health and social protection of the population.

Ihor Nabatov, the deputy director of the housing and communal services department, said that they received boiler rooms for hospitals in 2023 from the International Organization for Migration. However, the installation of one such boiler house today costs about 3 million hryvnias.

«In 2023, Mykolaiv received these three modular boiler houses from the International Organization for Migration. These boiler houses were placed on the balance sheet of the specified three hospitals. But the project did not foresee the issue of installation of these boiler rooms, and the cost of installation, according to the information of the manufacturing plant, is about 3 million each,» said Ihor Nabatov.

He said that by order of the mayor, a working group was created, which, together with the housing and communal services department, representatives of hospitals and the health department, decided on the need to find a business entity that will install and service boiler rooms free of charge.

«A decision was made to adopt the necessary provision for holding a competition, within the framework of which we will be able to identify a business entity that will install free of charge and then provide maintenance for these boiler houses,» explained Ihor Nabatov.

Commission members supported the provisions. The issue will be considered at the upcoming session of the City Council.

It will be recalled that for the smooth passage of the heating season , six modular boiler houses were handed over to the Mykolaivoblteploenergo utility company.

What is known about the 2024/25 heating season in Mykolaiv?

We will remind, during the conference on the restoration of Ukraine in Berlin in June 2024, the mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkovych reported to the chairman of the board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov, how the city is preparing for the start of the heating season.

Oleksiy Chernyshov himself, in a comment to NikVesti, promised to monitor that Mykolaiv thermal power plant was ready for the heating season this year.

Later, Mykolaiv City Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said that at the start of the heating season in 2024, Mykolaiv CHP will take into account all last year's mistakes.

Before that, it was reported that Mykolaiv would not have time to build a new heat network on Pogranichnaya Street before the start of the 2024-2025 heating season due to a lack of funds. Although the director of Mykolaiv thermal power plant Dmytro Myroshnychenko assured that the workers will have time to complete these repair works.
