59.8 million hryvnias are needed for the reconstruction of the infrastructure of the utility company «Center for Animal Protection» in Mykolaiv. The city council is looking for a donor who will finance these works.

- Improvement of animal keeping conditions.
This involves the repair of existing premises, the construction of new enclosures and quarantine zones. In particular, the number of enclosures for keeping dogs is going to be increased from 134 to 220, for the postoperative unit — from 18 to 30, and 30 enclosures for the isolation unit will be built.
- Modernization of veterinary services.
It provides for the purchase of modern equipment for operations, diagnostics and treatment of animals.
- Reducing the number of homeless animals.
This includes the implementation of animal sterilization and vaccination programs.
- Educational and educational activities.
This is a campaign to raise public awareness of the humane treatment of animals, the importance of sterilization and responsible maintenance of pets.
- Increasing the adoption rate.
This is the organization of activities to find new owners for animals, as well as the creation of comfortable conditions for the adoption process.
- Cooperation with public organizations and volunteers.
This includes the involvement of public organizations, volunteers and concerned citizens in the work of the center to jointly solve the problems of homeless animals.
- Financial stability.
This is the development and implementation of mechanisms to ensure sustainable funding of the center, including public and private grants, charitable contributions and other sources of funding.
We will remind that the employees of the Mykolaiv KP Center for the Protection of Animals rescued more than 100 dogs and 30 cats that were in the area of a natural disaster caused by the explosion of the dam of the Kakhovka HPP.
