The Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Mykolaiv State University has announced a tender for the construction of an anti-radiation shelter at the Lyceum in the village of Nechaiane at a cost of over 34.5 million hryvnias.
This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system ProZorro, written NikVesti.
According to data contained in the education management information system, the lyceum currently has 221 students, and the number of staff is 43.
According to information from the DREAM platform, the protective structure in the Nechaiane Lyceum will be designed to shelter 150 people, including schoolchildren, teachers and other staff of the educational institution. This will allow students to have full-time education in two shifts.
«The protective structure is a separate structure immersed in the ground. This is a modern building of civil protection to ensure the full-time educational process and the protection of the population. The shelter will be located on the territory of the school, which allows unhindered access from the school premises to the shelter,» says the project description.
The winner of the tender will install a vertical lifting platform for the descent of people with reduced mobility to the storage facility. Tactile tiles, Braille signs and sound beacons are also provided.
It is planned to complete the construction of the PRU by December 31, 2025. Auctions will be held on October 25.
Earlier, the government allocated about 5 billion hryvnias from the budget for shelter in schools in eight regions, including the Mykolaiv region.
It should be noted that recently in Berezanka, an anti-radiation shelter at a school was flooded, the readiness of which was checked by the deputies and management of the Mykolaiv region in March of this year. 18 million hryvnias were spent on the repair work.
